We are a locally-owned, family-operated business serving the local community since 1994. Our website is part of our fence- and deck-estimating and selling toolkit.
We collect visitors names, emails, phone numbers, and addresses for the sole purpose of answering questions about fences, deck, and other yard projects. We only collect information from contact forms; we are not using any hidden tools on this site to collect site-visitor information. Clients and potential clients using the "Free Fence Estimate" links are captured by the MySalesman product we use. Some of the visitors don't realize they haven't completed their estimates, so this is a welcome tool allowing us to contact them about their project even if they don't complete the final step. Visitors may opt in to our seasonal email list; every email we send comes with it's own opt-out button.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Depending on which plug-in we're currently using to avoid spam, there may be an anonymized string created from your email address to see if you are using it. After comments are approved, a profile picture may be visible to the public in context of your comment.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
We do not share your data.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the information provided when completing requests for information in our "Get in Touch" forms. Visitor comments may be checked though an automated spam detection service.
